LA MER - THE MYSTERY OF BLUE

The Blue of Mystery is a core message within LA MER’s brand narrative, reflecting both its luxurious identity and the origin of its iconic ingredients. Embracing this concept, I took on the challenge of designing a series of interactive motion graphics that visually communicate the story behind the brand.

Through in-depth research into LA MER’s heritage, the task identified the three essential ingredients that form the foundation of its signature cream. These elements were translated into a visually engaging, play-to-learn experience — presented in a experimental, gamified format. The design reveals the sources of the ingredients, their transformation through the product development process, and their symbolic connection to nature.
