The LDC Company - Edible Oils Packaging

On the occasion of the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai in year of 2019, Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) launched two new consumer brands – ‘Mastergold’ packaged cooking oil.

The design solution was driven by the art direction of professional meals made with confidence.” The goal was to deliver a bold new brand identity for LDC food oil — one that would stand out in a competitive market while elevating the perception of everyday cooking.

Whether used by professional chefs in restaurants or by home cooks in their kitchens, the branding positions LDC as a trusted partner in creating high-quality, flavorful dishes. Central to the concept was the development of a signature brand IP — a visual and emotional symbol that communicates the idea: Every meal made with LDC carries the mark of a 5-star standard.

This identity brings a fresh, confident look to the brand, resonating with consumers who value both taste and quality, and establishing LDC as a premium choice in the culinary world.
